October 26-27, 2016 community members met for the first Cameron Economic Strategic Implementation Process Workshop hosted by DineHozho L3C and its community partners. This process began with a listening session where community members shared values, created a vision of Cameron’s economic future and identified the key cultural, sustainable economic issues and projects that could bring an enhanced quality of living to Cameron members.
The community is invited again to join another development workshop on November 14th and 15th to continue to planning process. The workshop will be held at the Cameron Chapter House from 9 am to 4 pm. Traditional games will start at 4 pm on the 14th and go until dinner and music by Summit Dub Squad at 5. Both days of workshops are hands-on and will include speakers, a panel discussion, visions and value assessment and identification of strategies for key sustainable economic projects.
